NiziU Releases New Digital EP 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.) / Shining day'

JYP Entertainment's girl group NiziU has officially launched their new digital EP titled 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.) / Shining day' today, May 26. The EP was made available at midnight in Japan, following a teaser release of the title track 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.)' and a performance video on May 24, which helped build anticipation. That same day, NiziU also performed on NHK's music program 'Venue101', captivating viewers with their bright and charming energy.
The new EP features two tracks: the title song 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.)' and 'Shining day'. The title track is the Japanese version of 'LOVE LINE (운명선)', which was released as part of their second Korean single on March 31. It showcases lyrics themed around 'fate', a distinctive sound, and NiziU's signature high-pitched vocals. 'Shining day' serves as the background music for a popular advertisement for the cosmetics brand 'suisai', radiating a refreshing vibe that boosts confidence.
Since their official debut in Japan in December 2020, NiziU has solidified their status as a leading girl group by topping major local music charts such as Oricon and Billboard Japan. They made their official debut in South Korea in October 2023 with their first single album 'Press Play' and the title track 'HEARTRIS'. In March of this year, they returned to the Korean music scene with their second single album 'LOVE LINE', marking their comeback after approximately 1 year and 5 months. Notably, they achieved the top spot on music shows just nine days after the release of 'LOVE LINE (운명선)', reaffirming their popularity.
Looking ahead, NiziU is set to hold their first solo fan concert in Hong Kong on June 21, continuing their global activities. Starting in September, they will embark on a new tour titled 'NiziU Live with U 2025' and 'NiziU Live with U 2026', covering 21 cities across Japan. Fans are eagerly anticipating NiziU's journey as they expand their influence with their warm and exciting music both domestically and internationally.
