NewJeans Shines at SBS '2024 Gayo Daejeon'

On December 25, 2024, NewJeans took the stage with bright smiles at the SBS '2024 Gayo Daejeon' held at Incheon Inspire Arena. The event was hosted by IVE's An Yujin, NCT's Doyoung, and TXT's Yeonjun. The second part of the show kicked off with Doyoung's enchanting performance of 'Firefly,' setting the mood for NewJeans' appearance. The group made a memorable entrance wearing bunny hats and performed 'Ditto (250 Remix).'

Despite recent claims of contract termination with their agency Ador, NewJeans captivated the audience under their name. They followed up with a lively rendition of 'Cookie + Hype Boy,' effortlessly commanding the stage.

Last month, NewJeans held an emergency press conference to announce their intention to terminate their exclusive contract with Ador. In response, Ador stated that they had not violated any terms and that the contract remained valid, subsequently filing a lawsuit to confirm the contract's validity.

Nevertheless, on December 14, NewJeans launched a new social media account under the username 'jeanzforfree,' marking the beginning of their independent activities. The members have been sharing updates and connecting with fans through this new platform, separate from their official account.
