NewJeans' Minji Becomes the Sister of Eunwoo and Jungwoo on 'The Return of Superman'

On the November 27 episode of KBS2TV's The Return of Superman (슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다), Minji from NewJeans (뉴진스) made a special appearance as the sister of Kim Jun-ho's sons, Eunwoo (은우) and Jungwoo (정우).

During the episode, Kim Jun-ho revealed his plans for a large-scale kimjang (김장), or kimchi-making event, and surprised everyone by announcing that Minji would be coming to help. Minji expressed her excitement, stating that she has been a fan of the show and had wanted to meet Eunwoo and Jungwoo for a long time. She humorously pondered whether she should be called 'aunt' or 'sister,' to which Eunwoo enthusiastically shouted, 'Sister!' causing laughter among the cast.

Kim Jun-ho shared that the first songs Eunwoo and Jungwoo ever heard were from NewJeans. The boys then engaged in a fun search for Minji in their videos, with Jungwoo pointing her out and calling her 'sister,' which delighted Minji. She expressed her happiness at becoming Jungwoo's first sister.

Kim Jun-ho also mentioned that Minji has a nickname related to bears, to which she explained that her fans gave her that name because they think she resembles a bear and loves them. Minji noted that Jungwoo also has a bear nickname, leading to the playful idea of 'bear siblings' being born.

The two shared many similarities, such as their birth month in May, blood types, and habits of being the second child and enjoying lying down. Minji remarked that the kitchen felt like a drama set, reminiscing about the episodes of The Return of Superman she had watched, showcasing her admiration for Eunwoo and Jungwoo.

Jungwoo followed Minji around excitedly, bringing smiles to the scene. When Minji called him, he rushed over and hugged her tightly, creating a heartwarming moment. Throughout the day, Minji and Jungwoo completed errands together and participated in the kimjang, enjoying a joyful experience.
