NEWBEAT Makes Their Official Debut with 'RAW AND RAD'

Today, NEWBEAT (뉴비트) officially enters the K-pop scene with the release of their first studio album, 'RAW AND RAD', as part of a grand debut project. The seven-member boy group, consisting of members 박민석, 홍민성, 전여여정, 최서현, 김태양, 조윤후, and 김리우, will launch their album at 6 PM KST on various online music platforms.

'RAW AND RAD' embodies the fearless spirit of youth, showcasing the boys' determination to challenge themselves without fear of failure. The album features a total of 11 tracks, including pre-released songs 'JeLLo (힘숨찐)' and 'HICCUPS', along with the title track 'Flip the Coin', 'Intro: RAW AND RAD (feat. Khundi Panda) (Prod. Maalib)', 'Sounds like Money', '너, 나 +,-', 'F.L.Y (Prod. 임현식)', 'Wonder (Solo. 전여여정)', 'We Are Young', 'Outro: ZERO-SUM GAME (Prod. Maalib)', and 'Highs&Lows (Hi&Love)'.

The intro and outro tracks were produced by Maalib, while the song 'F.L.Y' features production from BTOB's 임현식. Additionally, Khundi Panda contributed to the track 'RAW AND RAD', enhancing the album's overall quality.

The title track 'Flip the Coin' is a throwback to the 90s old-school genre, characterized by its diverse sampling sounds, groovy yet powerful drums, and catchy hooks. The song explores the duality of existence, portraying the coexistence of good and evil from the boys' perspective.

The music video is creatively directed by 박비, known for his work with aespa and IVE, alongside director 이예지, who will showcase a visually stunning presentation.

NEWBEAT, making their debut under Beat Interactive after eight years, includes members from Mnet's 'Boys Planet' and the group TO1. They have already garnered a global fanbase through various busking tours prior to their official debut.

In a bold move for a rookie group, NEWBEAT is releasing a full album that includes two pre-released tracks. They will also debut through Mnet's global showcase 'Drop the NEWBEAT' and an SBS fan showcase, generating excitement for their arrival in the industry.

NEWBEAT's first studio album 'RAW AND RAD' will be available at 6 PM KST, followed by their official debut at 8 PM KST during the Mnet global showcase. The SBS fan showcase will take place on March 26 and will be available for viewing on the SBS official YouTube channel 'SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO' on March 28.
