NEWBEAT Confirms Debut Fan Showcase on SBS Following Mnet
The new boy group NEWBEAT is set to elevate the excitement surrounding their debut with a fan showcase confirmed on SBS, following their appearance on Mnet. The group, consisting of members 박민석, 홍민성, 전여여정, 최서현, 김태양, 조윤후, and 김리우, will hold their debut fan showcase on March 26 at the SBS Prism Tower. Following this event, the showcase will be broadcast on March 28 via SBS's official YouTube channel, 'SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO'.
During the showcase, NEWBEAT will perform a variety of stages, including pre-release tracks from their first studio album 'RAW AND RAD', as well as their title track. The members are expected to deliver flawless live performances and engage in diverse segments that highlight their unique charm. This event marks a significant opportunity for the group to connect with fans for the first time since their debut.
Prior to this, NEWBEAT has already generated buzz with the release of their pre-release tracks 'JeLLo (힘숨찐)' and 'HICCUPS (히컵스)', which have gained traction on various online platforms due to their catchy melodies and stylish visuals.
Formed by Beat Interactive, NEWBEAT is a seven-member boy group that includes 박민석 from Mnet's 'Boys Planet' and 전여여정 from the group TO1. They have been building a global fanbase through domestic and international busking tours even before their official debut. With their debut album on the horizon, anticipation is high for both the Mnet global debut show and the SBS showcase.
On March 13, NEWBEAT released a grills motion and lyric video for 'HICCUPS', featuring unique visuals that captured attention with a playful representation of hiccups and grills inscribed with the song's title. The group plans to unveil more content related to their debut album, including concept photos and music video teasers.
NEWBEAT's first studio album 'RAW AND RAD' will be released on March 24 at 6 PM, followed by their global debut show 'Drop the NEWBEAT' airing at 8 PM on Mnet and M2's YouTube channel. The SBS fan showcase will be available for viewing on March 28 on the 'SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO' channel.
