New Horror Film 'Black Nuns' Features Moon Woo-jin as a Possessed Boy

'Black Nuns' (검은 수녀들), directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae and produced by the film company Jib, is generating buzz with its fresh pairing of Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-been. The film tells the story of individuals who engage in forbidden rituals to save a boy named Hee-jun, who is tormented by a powerful evil spirit. Moon Woo-jin, known for his impressive performances in dramas like What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (김비서가 왜 그럴까) and shows like Deserted Island Diva (무인도의 디바), is set to deliver a compelling portrayal of Hee-jun, a boy suffering from inexplicable pain despite undergoing numerous treatments.
Hee-jun is depicted as being on the brink of giving up due to his relentless suffering, yet deep down, he harbors a strong will to live. Moon Woo-jin is expected to perfectly embody Hee-jun's struggle, showcasing the character's internal conflict as he grapples with his own pain while fearing for the safety of others. Director Kwon Hyuk-jae praised Moon Woo-jin, stating that he is an actor who consistently brings curiosity and excitement to each filming day. Moon Woo-jin has also shared his dedication to the role, mentioning that he has been taking Latin classes to ensure his lines flow naturally.
