New Drama 'Ask the Stars' Captivates Viewers with Bold Storyline

The new tvN drama 'Ask the Stars' (별들에게 물어봐), which premiered on January 4, 2025, has already captured the attention of viewers with its striking narrative. The show features the characters Gong Ryong (이민호) and Eve Kim (공효진) as they embark on a journey to space as tourists heading to a space station.

In the first episode, viewers witness Gong Ryong's motivations for becoming a space tourist and Eve Kim's struggles as she takes on the role of the first commander on their flight. Flashbacks reveal intimate moments between the two main characters, with Gong Ryong spending a night with Choi Go Eun (한지은) and Eve Kim sharing a passionate evening with Park Dong Ah (김주헌).

Gong Ryong, who achieved a perfect score on his college entrance exam and became an obstetrician, faces financial difficulties after joining MZ Hospital. Following a traffic accident while heading to a night shift, he devises a plan to gain money from the incident. However, he is shocked to discover that the perpetrator is Choi Go Eun, the daughter of MZ Group's Choi Jae Ryong (김응수). After realizing he cannot save her child, he decides to terminate the pregnancy, leading to his dismissal from the hospital.

Feeling guilty, Choi Go Eun offers to compensate him, but when Gong Ryong declines, she kisses him unexpectedly, leading to a heated night together at a street vendor.

Meanwhile, Eve Kim and Park Dong Ah's night together occurs the day before their space journey. Park Dong Ah reminisces about a suit set that collided with their spacecraft, which he wore on his last flight. When questioned by Do Na Ri (이초희) about his presence, he insists he is still an employee until the next day, wanting to support Eve on her first command flight.

Do Na Ri teasingly asks if there are any romantic feelings involved, catching both Park Dong Ah and Eve Kim off guard. It turns out they had spent a passionate night together before the flight, with Park Dong Ah expressing his frustration about the long wait until their next command. Eve Kim responds with a deep kiss, solidifying their connection before the journey ahead.
