New Boy Group NEWBEAT Set to Debut with Diverse Musical Colors

The new boy group NEWBEAT, consisting of members 박민석, 홍민성, 전여여정, 최서현, 김태양, 조윤후, and 김리우, is set to make their debut on March 24. On March 18 and 19, they unveiled a highlight medley and a trailer for their first album, 'RAW AND RAD', through their official social media channels.

The highlight medley features snippets from 11 tracks, including pre-released songs 'JeLLo(힘숨찐)' and 'HICCUPS', as well as the title track 'Flip the Coin', 'Intro: RAW AND RAD(feat. Khundi Panda)(Prod. Maalib)', 'Sounds like Money', '너,나 +,-', 'F.L.Y(Prod. 임현식)', 'Wonder(Solo. 전여여정)', 'We Are Young', 'Outro: ZERO-SUM GAME(Prod. Maalib)', and 'Highs&Lows(Hi&Love)'. The video showcases a character from NEWBEAT racing on a turntable, adding a visual element to the experience. The diverse sounds and beats, along with the group's captivating vocals, are sure to engage listeners. Notable producers and artists like Maalib, BTOB's 임현식, and Khundi Panda contributed to the album, raising expectations.

The trailer film titled 'RAD', directed by 조기석, known for his work on 제니's ZEN, captivates with its dreamy and mysterious atmosphere. It tells the story of NEWBEAT discovering their unique powers and undergoing transformation, leaving fans eager for more.

Formed by 비트인터렉티브 after an eight-year hiatus, NEWBEAT is a seven-member group composed entirely of Korean members, including 박민석 from Mnet's '보이즈 플래닛' and 전여여정 from TO1. They have built a global fanbase through domestic and international busking tours prior to their debut.

The group has already garnered attention with their pre-released tracks 'JeLLo(힘숨찐)' and 'HICCUPS'. Their debut will be marked by the release of 'RAW AND RAD' at 6 PM on March 24, followed by an official debut showcase on Mnet at 8 PM.
