The streaming giant kicked off the year with the highly anticipated series 'Severe Trauma Center' (중증외상센터) and promises a diverse lineup that includes dramas, variety shows, and films.

On February 4, 2025, Netflix hosted the 'Next on Netflix 2025 Korea' event at the Fairmont Ambassador Hotel, featuring key figures such as Kang Dong-han, VP of Korean Content, and directors from various departments including Kim Tae-won from the film division and Yoo Gi-hwan from the nonfiction sector.

Kang expressed confidence in the 2025 lineup, stating, "This year, we have curated a selection of works that cater to unique tastes and could become life-changing for viewers. I believe this is the best lineup we've ever presented in my nearly seven years at Netflix."
