NCT's Mark to Host Simultaneous Listening Session for His Solo Album Across Four Asian Cities

NCT's Mark is set to celebrate the release of his first solo album with a special listening session taking place simultaneously in four major Asian cities. Scheduled for April 7 at 4 PM, the event will be held at the FB Theater in Seongsu Cultural and Arts Center, with live participation from fans in Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Bangkok.
This listening session, themed around 'City,' aims to connect fans across different urban landscapes, allowing them to engage with Mark in real-time from unique venues in each city. Attendees will have the opportunity to preview all tracks from the album before its official release, as well as hear Mark share insights about the songs, behind-the-scenes stories from the album's production, and personal reflections as he embarks on his solo journey.
Following the listening session, Mark will host a showcase at the same venue at 8 PM, where he will perform the album's title track '1999' (일구구구) along with other songs, marking the first live presentation of his new music to fans worldwide.
Titled 'The Firstfruit' (더 퍼스트프루트), the album draws inspiration from four cities significant to Mark: his hometown of Toronto, his first place of residence in New York, Vancouver where he spent his childhood, and Seoul, where he is pursuing his dreams. The album features a total of 13 tracks, organized into chapters based on these cities.
Fans can look forward to the full album release on April 7 at 6 PM across various music platforms.
