NCT's Mark Releases New Single 'Fraktsiya' Featuring Lee Young-ji

NCT's Mark is set to unveil his latest single, '프락치 (Fraktsiya) (Feat. 이영지)', today, December 16, at 6 PM KST across various global music platforms. The music video will also be released simultaneously on the SMTOWN YouTube channel.

'프락치 (Fraktsiya) (Feat. 이영지)' is a hip-hop track characterized by a heavy 808 bass and strikingly repetitive synthesizer sounds layered over house-style chord progressions. The song incorporates elements of UK drill, showcasing a unique charm and sharp rapping style from Mark that listeners have yet to experience.

The lyrics cleverly draw parallels between Mark and Lee Young-ji, highlighting their dynamic presence that transcends K-pop and hip-hop. The collaboration reflects the confidence of both artists as they navigate their respective domains.

Mark shared his thoughts on the track, stating, "I started working on this song while reflecting on my position in K-pop and how I live in various ways. I felt that Young-ji had a similar character to mine, so I asked her to feature, and she graciously agreed."
