NCT's Doyoung Undergoes Allergy Testing on 'I Live Alone'

In the latest episode of MBC's I Live Alone (나 혼자 산다), which aired on June 6, NCT's Doyoung shared his experience of undergoing allergy testing. During his visit to the hospital, he explained to the doctor that he had previously taken antibiotics when he was unwell, which led to an allergic reaction that required a trip to the emergency room. Doyoung revealed, 'I was prescribed cold medicine, but I started having trouble breathing and felt increasing tightness in my chest, which prompted my visit to the ER. The doctors suggested it might be an antibiotic allergy.'
Fellow cast member Key shared his own experience, stating, 'I had to take penicillin due to contact dermatitis, and suddenly my throat swelled up. These issues seem to arise as we get older.' Comedian Park Na-rae also chimed in, mentioning that she developed a sun allergy two years ago, attributing it to a decline in her immune system.
Doyoung's doctor informed him that his white blood cell count was elevated and that there were signs of acute inflammatory response, indicating a possible bacterial infection. However, the doctor reassured him that the allergy test results were fine, explaining that allergic reactions can occur when the immune system is compromised.
