NCT WISH Concludes Successful Japan Tour with Enthusiastic Performances
NCT WISH (엔시티 위시), a group under SM Entertainment, has successfully wrapped up their Japan tour, which spanned six cities and included 12 performances. The tour kicked off in Ishikawa on November 3-4, followed by shows in Kyoto on November 9-10, Kanagawa on November 27-28, Hyogo on November 30-December 1, Fukuoka on December 6-7, and concluded in Aichi on December 12-13 as part of the '2024 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in JAPAN'.
This tour marked NCT WISH's first official performances in Japan since their debut, generating significant excitement among fans. Tickets sold out rapidly as soon as they became available, showcasing the group's strong appeal.
The final concert in Aichi took place at Niterra Hall, where NCT WISH opened with their debut track 'WISH'. They captivated the audience with a vibrant setlist that included songs from their first mini-album such as 'Steady', '3분까진 필요 없어', and 'Dunk Shot', as well as tracks like 'Songbird', 'Tears Are Falling', and 'We Go!', all radiating their unique refreshing and positive energy.
Additionally, the group unveiled performances of songs from their first Japanese studio album, released on November 27, including 'NASA', 'CHOO CHOO', 'FAR AWAY', 'Touchdown', and the emotional winter song 'Wishful Winter'. They also covered BoA's Japanese version of 'No.1' and NCT U's 'Make A Wish', delivering a total of 17 diverse performances that received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
Major local media outlets such as Sankei Sports, Nikkan Sports, Chunichi Sports, Daily Sports, and Sports Hochi attended the tour, highlighting NCT WISH's popularity in Japan. Sankei Sports noted, 'NCT WISH takes the stage! Their freshness and energy captivated the audience,' while Nikkan Sports reported, 'All 12 performances sold out, uniting with fans.' This reflects NCT WISH's recognition as one of the 'Best New Artists of 2024' in Japan.
