NCT DREAM Unveils New Album 'Go Back To The Future' with Nostalgic Themes

On July 14, 2025, NCT DREAM (마크, 런쥔, 제노, 해찬, 재민, 천러, 지성) held a press conference at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul to introduce their fifth studio album, 'Go Back To The Future'. This album narrates the journey of NCT DREAM as they embark on a time travel adventure to discover their most brilliant selves. It features a total of nine tracks, including double title songs 'BTTF' (비티티에프, Back To The Future) and 'CHILLER' (칠러).

The track 'BTTF' conveys a message about recognizing a regret-free past while moving towards a radiant future, presenting a pivotal choice that can alter the past. Zeno described 'BTTF' as a song that embodies the concept of time travel, emphasizing its strong performance that reflects the album's core theme of seeking one's brightest self. Renjun added that the lyrics, which echo like a slogan, encapsulate the essence of NCT DREAM, representing their past, present, and future, making it particularly meaningful.

In a nostalgic homage to their debut, NCT DREAM shared that they wore pajamas in the 'BTTF' music video, reminiscent of their first performance. They recreated the bedroom setting and styling from their debut, aiming to evoke fond memories for fans. The members expressed their belief that fans would appreciate this connection, as the video illustrates how their past selves contribute to who they are today.

The second title track, 'CHILLER', explores the theme of enjoying the present moment with confidence and joy, seamlessly transitioning around the narrative of 'BTTF'. Chenle explained that 'CHILLER' encourages listeners to embrace their most radiant selves, with lyrics that reflect a carefree and witty spirit, aligning well with their playful side despite their growth.

Jaemin highlighted the distinctive sound of 'CHILLER', noting that it offers a fun experience when listened to alongside the intro of 'BTTF'. He mentioned that the recording of 'BTTF' was done in a relaxed manner, aiming to convey the song's essence while showcasing NCT DREAM's unique color.

The full album 'Go Back To The Future' will be available on various music platforms at 6 PM on July 14, 2025, and will also be released in physical format on the same day.
