NaSolSaGye's Young-sook Reveals Sudden Breakup with Mr. Park

In a recent episode of the SBS Plus and ENA reality show, I Am Solo, Love Continues (나는 솔로, 사랑은 계속된다), contestant Young-sook from the 10th season disclosed that she experienced a 'ghosting breakup' from Mr. Park. Following the January 30 broadcast, a live session featuring the show's singles was held on the YouTube channel, Chonjang Entertainment TV.

During the live stream, Mr. Park addressed his relationship status with Young-sook, clarifying that although they had chosen each other during the final selection, they are no longer a couple. He stated, "I had a good time with Young-sook, but due to my busy schedule, maintaining the relationship became more challenging than I anticipated. Therefore, we are currently not a couple."

However, Young-sook claimed that Mr. Park abruptly cut off communication and ended things via text message. She expressed, "After much consideration, I chose Mr. Park and we maintained a good relationship without any arguments. We even did a couple's photoshoot at the end of the year. But suddenly, he went silent and broke up with me through KakaoTalk. I wanted to meet and discuss things in person, but he avoided contact that day. In fact, today is the first time I've seen him since then. I believe that even when parting ways, it's important to meet and have a conversation to say goodbye."

She continued, "Mr. Park's ghosting left me confused and it was a very difficult time. On the day we were supposed to meet, I briefly spoke with him and asked why he suddenly went silent. I questioned why he would do a couple's photoshoot and discuss marriage if he intended to break up. He responded that he viewed the couple's photoshoot as a farewell trip and that the show was just for entertainment. Hearing that shocked me."

Young-sook emphasized the need for respect and consideration in breakups, stating, "I felt a lack of respect and consideration for me, which was very hard to deal with. I wanted to see him during the live broadcast to express my gratitude for the good times we had. If my shortcomings led him to want to break up, I apologize for that. Although I feel hurt, I wish him well moving forward."

In response, Mr. Park admitted, "Young-sook is right about everything. I did act poorly at times. I thought that if I had to end things, I should do it harshly. I have a tendency to be indecisive and made many mistakes when I was younger, like breaking up and then wanting to reconcile. I realize that was cowardly. I just needed to sort out my feelings."

However, Young-sook pressed him on why they did the couple's photoshoot, to which Mr. Park confessed, "Honestly, I didn't want to do the couple's photoshoot. I agreed to it because Young-sook wanted to, and I thought I would go along with it. I feel sorry for the filming crew."
