Nana from After School Purchases Luxury Villa for 4.2 Billion Won

Nana, the actress and former member of the girl group After School, has acquired a luxury villa located in the upscale Archiul Village of Guri, Gyeonggi Province, for 4.2 billion won. According to real estate sources and the Supreme Court registry, Nana signed a contract in March for a unit in the 'Arcadia Signature' complex, which has a floor area of 221 square meters. She completed the payment and transferred ownership last month. During this process, a mortgage with a maximum claim amount of approximately 3.2 billion won was registered. Typically, this maximum claim amount is set at about 120% of the actual loan amount, suggesting that Nana likely borrowed around 2.7 billion won from financial institutions, which is about 64% of the total purchase price.
The villa, completed in May 2023, is a high-end residential complex featuring two penthouses among a total of eight units, spanning from two basement levels to four above ground. Its private access road and stringent security measures make it a popular choice among celebrities and high-profile individuals. Notably, actress Han So-hee purchased a duplex penthouse in the same complex for 5.24 billion won last August, while actress Choo Ja-hyun made headlines by signing a lease for 3.5 billion won.
Archiul Village, where the villa is located, was once home to renowned artists such as the late novelist Park Wan-seo and painter Lee Seong-ja, earning it the nickname 'Artist Village.' Following the lifting of the greenbelt in 2006, the area has developed into a luxurious residential district, now home to celebrities like Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, actress Oh Yeon-seo, singer Park Jin-young, and H.O.T.'s Moon Hee-jun.
Since debuting with After School in 2009, Nana has been establishing her career as an actress, with her upcoming film 'All-Rounder' set to hit theaters in July.
