Nam Bora Shares Heartfelt Family Story and Wedding Preparations on 'Newly Released Menu'

On the February 14 episode of KBS2TV's Newly Released Menu (신상출시 편스토랑), actress Nam Bora opened up about her special relationship with her younger brother and expressed gratitude towards her fiancé. Nam Bora, who has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, a fellow entrepreneur of the same age, for nearly two years, is set to tie the knot in May. She joyfully stated, 'I will be a May bride.' When asked how they met, she shared, 'We met while volunteering and connected over sharing items,' adding that he has been a strong support in her life.

Discussing her fiancé, Nam Bora mentioned, 'He often tells me I'm pretty.' She also reflected on their wedding photoshoot, saying, 'Hearing him say I'm pretty made me even happier.' As they continued to discuss wedding preparations, she expressed some worries, to which her fiancé reassured her, 'If we prepare well, it will go smoothly.'

When asked about his feelings as the wedding day approaches, her fiancé admitted, 'It hasn't hit me yet since there's still some time left. I think it will feel real on the day itself.' Nam Bora playfully asked if he would cry on their wedding day, to which he responded with a laugh, 'I should cry,' while she joked that he might not. He then quipped that he would act like he was crying, and she offered to teach him how to act it out, showcasing their playful chemistry.

Nam Bora also shared a touching story about her sixth sibling, Hwi Ho, who has developmental disabilities. She proudly mentioned that her brother, born in 1997, won a silver medal at a skills competition and is pursuing his dream of becoming a barista. She expressed her gratitude, saying, 'He and my fiancé already know each other through church activities, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my fiancé takes good care of him.'

Actress Moon Ji In, who can relate to Nam Bora's story as her brother also has developmental disabilities, expressed her appreciation for the support they receive from their families. Nam Bora thanked her fiancé's family for their understanding and support, while comedian Kim Gi Ri humbly stated that he sees Nam Bora's family as part of his circle of friends, emphasizing the importance of community and support in their lives.
