Multinational Girl Group ZenBlue Joins Korean Singer Association, Aims to Lead K-Pop

The six-member multinational K-pop girl group ZenBlue has officially registered as a member of the Korean Singer Association (대한가수협회). On December 10, ZenBlue met with the association's president, Lee Ja-yeon, expressing their excitement about joining an organization that is foundational to K-pop and Korean music. They stated, "As a multinational girl group, we will take the lead in promoting K-pop."

The members received their singer membership certificates and shared their pride in finally being recognized as K-pop artists, vowing to work hard to elevate the status of K-pop in the future.

ZenBlue was formed through the Taiwanese survival program 'Future Girl' and has previously achieved the top album sales on Taiwan's 'iTopChart.' They debuted in Taiwan on November 16 last year and made a significant entry into the South Korean K-pop market in September. The group expressed their desire to be recognized not just as a Taiwanese girl group but as a K-pop girl group, actively participating in Korean music broadcasts.

President Lee Ja-yeon expressed her hopes for ZenBlue, which includes members from Taiwan and Korea, to lead popular culture both in South Korea and globally. She also mentioned that if ZenBlue participates in the Korean Singer Association's concerts, which aim to showcase K-pop in culturally underserved areas, it could create a unifying stage that bridges generations.
