Mr. Trot 3 Set to Debut with a Completely New Format

The popular singing competition, Mr. Trot 3 (미스터트롯3), is returning with a revolutionary new format. On December 17, the production team of TV Chosun unveiled a teaser for the upcoming season. The trailer boldly states, "Forget everything you know about 'Mr. Trot.'" It continues with the message, "We’ve kept only the trot and changed everything else. A completely new Mr. Trot is born."

Mr. Trot 3 promises the most significant and groundbreaking changes in its history, including alterations to the preliminary rules, the removal of age restrictions, and blind auditions for the current generation of contestants. The teaser also declares, "Even if you sing well or get all hearts, there’s no guarantee of passing; there are no limits, no faces."

Viewers will witness the shocked reactions of the judges and the heartfelt performances of the contestants. The final scene features the 101 trot contestants alongside MC Kim Seong-joo, standing in front of a massive cake.
