Mr. Baek Kim Caught Between Young-sook and Jung-sook on 'I Am SOLO'

In the latest episode of ENA and SBS Plus's reality show 'I Am SOLO, Love Continues After' (나는 SOLO, 그 후 사랑은 계속된다), Mr. Baek Kim found himself in a complicated situation between contestants Young-sook (10기 영숙) and Jung-sook (10기 정숙). During the December 19 broadcast, the romantic dynamics among the divorced singles continued to unfold.

After returning from a date, Mr. Park revealed, "I bought a piece of linen clothing for Young-sook. She asked me to wear it, so we decided to match outfits," which left Mr. Baek Kim feeling uneasy. Although he had hoped to go on a date with Young-sook, he ended up dining alone. When Young-sook appeared wearing the linen outfit, Mr. Baek Kim questioned, "Is this a couple's outfit?" to which she quickly denied, saying, "It's not a couple's outfit. What are you talking about?" Despite her dismissal, Mr. Baek Kim struggled to hide his disappointment. In an interview, he admitted, "I felt really annoyed. But seeing Young-sook in that outfit was cute."

Meanwhile, it was Jung-sook who seemed most concerned about Mr. Baek Kim, who was left alone after his solitary meal. Even after her own date, Jung-sook asked the production team if she could return to the accommodation to check on him, expressing her worry for those who hadn’t eaten. Upon her return, she offered to cook for him. When Mr. Baek Kim asked her if her date was fun, Jung-sook replied, "I felt like a bystander. I thought many girls would come to you, and I was considering a second date, but no one came for you, and Mr. Bae had three girls. I was confused."

Later that night, during a segment where the men chose partners to share a dish of cabbage pancakes, Mr. Baek Kim did not select Jung-sook, leaving her feeling dejected. The preview for the next episode showed Jung-sook storming out, expressing her disappointment to Mr. Baek Kim, saying, "I’ll just go in alone. Forget it, let me go."

In her interview with the production team, Jung-sook shared her feelings, stating, "We had a shoulder hug, which is something you only do with someone you like. I thought for sure you would choose me, but when you didn’t, I felt so embarrassed that I wanted to go home. I felt like a toy."
