Moon Se-yoon and Hanhae's New Song Promotion on 'Amazing Saturday' Falls Flat

On February 15, 2025, the popular tvN variety show 'Amazing Saturday' (놀라운 토요일) aired an episode that introduced a significant event: the release of Moon Se-yoon and Hanhae's new song '가르쳐 줘' (Teach Me). The duo had previously performed a duet of '벌써 일년' (Already a Year) during episode 342, which sparked a lot of interest among fans who hoped for a unit from the two artists.

However, the promotional stage for their new track did not go as planned. The cast of 'Amazing Saturday' began teasing the two, as they needed to perform well in the snack game to promote their song effectively. Host Boom stated, "Since promotions are monetized, you will need to answer correctly in the snack game to have the opportunity to introduce your song."

This led to Moon Se-yoon and Hanhae struggling to focus on answering questions correctly during the episode. Boom humorously warned them, saying, "It seems like you two are too worried about your live performance to concentrate on getting the answers right. Please focus on the answers!"

The highly anticipated snack game featured a guessing game about item names, which was particularly challenging for Moon Se-yoon, who had previously finished last in a similar game. Adding to the tension, the show's weakest player, Kim Dong-hyun, managed to pass through the game second, leaving both Hanhae and Moon Se-yoon feeling the pressure.

Ultimately, Moon Se-yoon was unable to guess the game title correctly. In the second round, they aimed to perform better, but when no one could guess the lyrics that included '산뜻하다' (fresh), Kim So-hyun, a graduate of Seoul National University's vocal department, stepped in, explaining, "This song expresses music, and the three-note sequence represents a three-beat rhythm in music."

Despite her helpfulness, Kim So-hyun expressed concern, saying, "If I guess it right in one go, won't that mean they can't perform their song?" Unfortunately for Moon Se-yoon and Hanhae, she did guess correctly, leaving them in despair. Park Na-rae commented on Kim So-hyun's kindness, noting her worry about the duo not being able to sing if she got the answer right, while Shin Dong-yup added, "You don't need to worry. Their chance to sing is completely over now," delivering the news in a brutally honest yet kind manner.
