MONSTA X's Hyungwon Delivers Unforgettable Day for Fans at 'Wonder Garden' Event

Hyungwon of MONSTA X created a memorable experience for fans during his recent fan event, '2025 Hyungwon Fan Event: Hyungwon's Wonder Garden,' held on May 17 at the Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Just four days after his military discharge, the event sold out immediately upon ticket release, showcasing the immense anticipation from fans.
Hyungwon made a charming entrance holding a bouquet, engaging with fans and setting a delightful atmosphere. He opened the event by performing 'Changmun' by Daymon's Ear, captivating the audience with his emotional vocals.
After the performance, Hyungwon greeted his fans, known as Monbebe, expressing his nervousness at reuniting after a long time. He shared his thought process behind choosing 'Changmun' as his first song, stating, "I wanted to share a song I love with you all." He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans by showcasing the legendary 'Flower Shoes' passed down from members Minhyuk, Jooheon, and Kihyun.
The event continued with a theme of 'Hyungwon's Greenhouse,' where he shared various anecdotes from his military service during the first talk segment, '546 Days of Blossoming.' He entertained fans with stories and photos, including humorous incidents and a memorable trombone performance borrowed from Kihyun, highlighting his time in the military band.
In the 'Monbebe Blossoms' segment, Hyungwon read heartfelt letters from fans collected through the global fan platform Berriz. His sincere reading brought emotional moments, especially when fans who had sent letters shared their experiences, including a birthday Monbebe and another who wrote in Busan dialect.
The interactive segments continued with a 'Wish Garden' where fans participated by writing wishes on post-its. Hyungwon energized the crowd with a medley of songs he performed during his military service, including 'Igloo,' 'Magnetic,' and 'Siren,' showcasing his unblemished performance skills.
