MONSTA X Members Transform into Convenience Store Chefs in Latest Episode

In a recent episode of MONSTA X's reality series, 'MON EAT IT ALL: The Three Brothers,' members Shownu, Minhyuk, and I.M showcased their culinary skills as they took on the role of convenience store chefs. Released on January 31, the fifth episode featured the trio competing in a cooking challenge that highlighted their unique personalities.

The members transformed into 'Black and White Chefs' and began by assessing each other's cooking abilities. While Shownu and Minhyuk displayed some cooking expertise, I.M humorously claimed to be a 'delivery expert' with nine years of experience. However, he expressed confidence in his ability to prepare dishes like rice cooked in a pot, hinting at potential surprises.

The challenge required them to create dishes using ingredients purchased within a budget of 10,000 won, all within a strict 30-minute time limit. Minhyuk, brimming with confidence, mentioned his extensive experience shopping at PX for a year and a half, claiming to have a variety of recipes passed down through seniors and created by peers.

I.M was the first to present his dish, which he called 'Cheolpudak,' made with ketchup, hot bars, pizza cheese, and potato chips, describing it as a 'pizza-like dish.' His creation received scores of 8.3 and 7 from Minhyuk and Shownu, respectively, who remarked that while it wasn't terrible, it had an odd taste.

Minhyuk quickly altered his recipe to create 'International Tacos' by topping potato chips with pork belly dumpling filling and tomatoes. However, he faced criticism for purchasing Sriracha sauce with his personal card. Despite the controversy, Shownu awarded him a high score of 9.8, praising it as 'another level' of flavor.

After much deliberation, Shownu decided to make 'Boost Up Greek Yogurt' as a dessert but was unable to avoid scrutiny for exceeding the budget due to a tangerine he received on his way back. Minhyuk rated Shownu's dish 9.5, noting that while it tasted good, it raised questions about whether it truly counted as cooking.

'MON EAT IT ALL: The Three Brothers' airs every Friday at 8:30 PM on MONSTA X's official YouTube channel. The anticipation for the show has increased, especially after a recent scene captured Jooheon, who just completed his military service, being escorted by the production team on set.
