MONSTA X Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Heartfelt Reflections

On July 16, 2025, MONSTA X held a press conference at the Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate their 10th anniversary with a special performance titled '2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X.' The group debuted in May 2015 with their first mini-album 'TRESPASS' and has since released numerous hit songs, including 'DRAMARAMA,' 'Shoot Out,' 'Love Killa,' 'Alligator,' and 'GAMBLER,' earning the title of 'performance masters' for their powerful music and stage presence.

After beginning their military service in 2021, with leader Shownu (셔누) being the first to enlist, all members except I.M (아이엠) have now returned, marking the end of their long hiatus and reuniting as a full group.

Minhyuk (민혁) expressed his feelings about the milestone, stating, "I’ve been asked a lot about our 10th anniversary, and while I didn’t feel it much at first, today it really hits me. It’s a new and overwhelming experience."

Hyungwon (형원) added, "I’m grateful that we’ve maintained our team for ten years and that our members have worked hard. We wouldn’t be here without our fans, and I want to sincerely thank them for their unwavering support."

Shownu reflected on the memories they’ve created, saying, "Looking back on our past, it feels incredible and new. I also want to thank our fans."

Kihyun (기현) shared his thoughts on transitioning from military to civilian life, saying, "It hasn’t been long since I returned to civilian status, and it feels like a wonderful gift. I’m thankful to my members and fans, and I’m committed to moving forward without complacency."

I.M reminisced about the early days of their career, saying, "When we first debuted, I wondered when our 10th anniversary would come. Now that it’s here, it’s hard to believe, and my gratitude for our fans grows with time. Most importantly, I’m thankful for my fellow members."

Lastly, Jooheon (주헌) reflected on his military service, recalling, "I thought about when I would be discharged, and it was in 2025, which coincided with our 10th anniversary. I remember working hard during my service with the anticipation of this milestone. I want to express my gratitude to our fans, members, and everyone at Starship Entertainment. We’re preparing the best gift for our 10th anniversary, so please look forward to it!"
