Model Moon Ga-bi Addresses Rumors Surrounding Her Child with Actor Jung Woo-sung

Model Moon Ga-bi (문가비), 35, has publicly addressed the rumors regarding her child with actor Jung Woo-sung (정우성), 51, for the first time since the news broke. On December 28, she took to her social media to express her concerns about the false narratives circulating in the media, stating, "The most affected by this situation is my child, who is defenseless, and I want to clarify my position."

Moon emphasized that there are many misconceptions she wishes to correct, starting with the fact that she never had a romantic relationship with Jung Woo-sung. She refuted claims that she demanded marriage for child support after becoming pregnant, stating, "Since meeting Jung Woo-sung at a gathering in 2022, we have gotten to know each other better, and our meetings continued until the last day of 2023. I have not met the father of my child since January 2024, and I have never asked him for marriage or anything else due to my pregnancy."

She explained that the decision to welcome their child was mutual, and there were moments of joy and excitement during her pregnancy. Moon expressed her belief that it is unfair to label their child as a mistake simply because the relationship between the parents is unconventional. "This child is growing up surrounded by the love and blessings of family, and my initial struggles as a mother do not equate to mistakes or failures."

Moon concluded her statement by expressing her hope that the world would bless the birth of her child and urged for an end to the spread of unfounded rumors about her and her child.

It is reported that Moon Ga-bi gave birth to Jung Woo-sung's son in March. Jung Woo-sung recently stated at the Blue Dragon Film Awards that he will take full responsibility as a father for his son.
