Misunderstandings Put Jeong Ji-so's Character at Risk in 'Suspicious Girl'

In the latest episode of KBS 2TV's drama 'Suspicious Girl' (수상한 그녀), which aired on January 1, 2025, Jeong Ji-so's character, Oh Doo-ri, finds herself in a precarious situation due to misunderstandings. During a confrontation with Oh Mal-sook, Oh Doo-ri questions, "This isn't our first meeting, is it? Who are you, coming into my house and pretending to be me?" Oh Mal-sook responds, "We have to meet at least once, with the same face and voice. So who do you think I am?" This revelation leads Oh Doo-ri to express disbelief, asking, "Is it really you? This can't be real!" as Oh Mal-sook embraces her in tears.

However, Oh Doo-ri quickly distances herself, stating, "To me, you are just a person who has passed away. Why are you here now, pretending to be me in my own home? Who would be happy about that?" Oh Mal-sook insists she has something important to say, but Oh Doo-ri dismisses her, saying, "Excuses are pointless. Just go away. It's hard enough living like this. How did you even recognize me? How did you know I looked younger?" Just then, a taxi driver calls, warning her about a serious taboo, causing Oh Mal-sook to leave abruptly, apologizing for her hasty exit.

Later, Oh Mal-sook confronts the taxi driver, expressing her frustration, "If you're going to be so harsh, why give me youth? Don't give it and take it back. Once a choice is made, it can't be undone. Isn't that too much?" The taxi driver replies, "Choosing to go back was your decision. No one forced you." Oh Mal-sook, with tears in her eyes, admits, "Yes, I regret it. I hope that person doesn't regret it either."

Meanwhile, Oh Doo-ri stirs the pot during a company dinner by challenging the CEO, Kim Ae-sim. She states, "Before this evaluation, can I say something? I've noticed that some people try to climb higher by stepping on others. Let's compete fairly and honestly this time." Kim Ae-sim acknowledges the harshness of her words but notes their importance, urging everyone to take heed.

Oh Doo-ri then pours a drink for Kim Ae-sim, asking, "Are you happy living like this?" This question catches everyone off guard. Following this, Kim Ae-sim warns Daniel Han, played by Jin Young, to keep his distance from Oh Doo-ri, suggesting that it would be better if she were to exit the company on her own.

Later, Daniel returns home to find a photo missing from his table and checks the CCTV, but the footage is unavailable. He receives a message that reads, "Welcome back, girl fan. Are you going to greet her?" Meanwhile, fellow trainee Su-jin captures a moment of Oh Doo-ri with her male friend, Park Gap-yong, and shares it with Kim Ae-sim. Kim Ae-sim shows the photo to Daniel, expressing concern over the potential scandals that could arise from such friendships, criticizing Oh Doo-ri's lack of discipline.

Determined to investigate, Daniel confronts Oh Doo-ri, asking, "Who is the guy who is giving you money? He doesn't seem like family. You know I'm essentially the representative of this company, right? I have hundreds of people to support. Are you really okay with this? This has to stop. Emily, you're out!"
