Misunderstandings Arise During Hyun-sook and Young-ho's Date on I Am SOLO

In the latest episode of ENA and SBS Plus's I Am SOLO, aired on December 11, Season 23's Hyun-sook and Young-ho found themselves entangled in misunderstandings during their date. While Young-soo enjoyed a date with Young-ja, who expressed her interest in him since their introductions, Young-soo seemed less engaged, stating in an interview, "It didn't feel like everything matched perfectly. If there's nothing else to do, I might talk to Young-ja."

Hyun-sook appeared anxious before her date with Young-ho, recalling his earlier request for a quiet setting. She shared with the production team, "I had mentally prepared myself since the second day. I felt I had to talk today, which made me uneasy all morning."

During their date, Hyun-sook brought up Young-ho's earlier comment about valuing family background. She candidly discussed her own family situation, saying, "I never thought of it as a flaw growing up. But it seems important to you, so I wanted to share."

Young-ho asked if she could elaborate on her parents, to which Hyun-sook responded, "I truly respect my mother." This revelation left Young-ho deep in thought.

In a separate interview, Young-ho mentioned his intention to create a fun atmosphere with a lie detector game, but he worried that discussing serious topics in the car would make it inappropriate. He expressed concern about being perceived as boring, which contributed to the tense atmosphere.

Young-ho later showed Hyun-sook the lie detector, saying, "I was going to use this, but I think I’ll save it for later," which made her smile.

The couple also had a serious discussion about their future together. Hyun-sook stated, "I want to see you for at least six months," while Young-ho humorously admitted, "I haven't had a long relationship; the longest was four months," which elicited laughter from those around them.

As the date concluded, Hyun-sook noticed Young-ho's red eyes and mistakenly thought he was upset about her family issues. In reality, Young-ho was worried that Hyun-sook might find him uninteresting, leading to their conflicting thoughts during the date.
