Meta Comedy Club Hongdae Celebrates Its First Anniversary with Special Performances

The Meta Comedy Club Hongdae, a dedicated comedy venue launched by the prominent domestic comedy label Meta Comedy, is set to celebrate its first anniversary. Opened on December 22, 2023, the club has become a popular cultural hotspot, providing a space for audiences to engage with comedians from the Meta Comedy roster, showcasing various comedy genres including stand-up and skits.

To mark this milestone, the club will host a series of special performances featuring a lineup of its talented comedians. The events include 'Kongt Assembly', 'Yongjure Dining', 'Anniversary SE', and '3 MIC', all of which have generated significant excitement among fans.

The anniversary celebrations kick off on December 20 with 'Kongt Assembly', hosted by Lee Chang-ho, featuring performances from comedians such as The Myeonsang, Ttuksa, Bota, Snack Town, Youth Desk, Potara, and Plus Minus, who will present skits rather than traditional banter.

On December 21, 'Yongjure Dining' will take place, curated by Lee Yong-joo from Pisik University, along with Steve Lee and Bae Yong-gil, offering a special course meal by Chef Oh Jun-tak.

The festivities continue on December 22 with 'Anniversary SE', featuring Ttuksa, Bbangwon, Ubbang, and Po Starra (banter), alongside stand-up performances from Kim Young-gu, Kim Tae-hyun, Park Seong-kyun, Park Cheol-hyun, and Won So-yoon. The special stand-up comedy show '3 MIC', featuring Kim Dong-ha, Kim Young-gu, and Won So-yoon, will conclude the anniversary events on December 25.
