최근 몇 년 동안 미국 라틴 음악 시장은 빠른 성장을 경험했다. 미국 음반 산업 협회(RIAA)는 2022년 미국 내 라틴 음악 수익이 10억 9천만 달러에 달했으며, 2023년에는 14억 달러, 2024년에는 14억 2천만 달러에 이를 것으로 예상하고 있다. Bad Bunny와 Karol G와 같은 아티스트들은 스페인어 노래로 미국 빌보드 차트에 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

HYBE 라틴 아메리카의 CEO인 가정현은 HYBE의 최고 수준의 제작 능력을 바탕으로 차세대 글로벌 라틴 아티스트를 발굴하고 육성하는 것에 대한 낙관적인 전망을 밝혔다. 그는 이 오디션 프로젝트가 아시아, 영어권 지역, 스페인어권 지역 간의 삼각 연결을 강화하여 HYBE의 글로벌 비즈니스 능력을 향상시킬 것이라고 말했다.

라틴 아메리카에서의 영향력을 확대하기 위해 HYBE는 2023년에 현지 자회사를 설립하고, 녹음, 음악 출판, 아티스트 관리 및 콘서트 기획에 활동 중인 Exile Music을 인수하여 사업 기반을 강화했다.
