MBC Announcer Kim Dae-ho to Leave for Freelance Career

Kim Dae-ho (김대호), a 42-year-old announcer for MBC, is set to leave the network. According to a report by JTBC on January 31, a source from the entertainment industry revealed that Kim has decided to pursue a freelance career and is currently in discussions with various agencies regarding his future endeavors. The source also mentioned that Kim is not expected to exit any of his ongoing MBC programs. MBC has confirmed that they are in the process of verifying this information. Kim Dae-ho is known for his appearances on popular MBC variety shows such as 나 혼자 산다 (I Live Alone) and 구해줘! 홈즈 (Home Alone). He joined MBC as part of the 30th batch of announcers after being selected as one of the final three contestants on the show 우리들의 일밤-신입사원 (Our Night - New Employee) in 2011. Over the years, he has showcased his entertainment skills, earning the Rookie of the Year award at the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards.
