Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Five Family Members in Yongin

A man in his 50s has been apprehended by police in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, for allegedly murdering five individuals believed to be family members. The Yongin Western Police Station reported on April 15 that the suspect, referred to as A, has been formally charged with murder.

According to police, the bodies of the five individuals were discovered at approximately 9:55 AM in an apartment located in the Suji District of Yongin, following a request for joint response from the fire department. Evidence of foul play was found on the victims, leading authorities to identify A as the primary suspect. However, it has been reported that A is not in a condition to undergo police questioning at this time. The exact relationship between A and the deceased has yet to be determined.
