Moonbyul, a member of the popular group MAMAMOO (마마무), is set to make her solo debut in Japan. On December 5, she announced her debut single titled 'Moon Byul Japan Debut Single 'Aurora'' (이하 'Aurora') through her official social media channels.

The teaser image shared features a warm sunlight streaming through a window, with someone gently touching an aurora decoration. This mystical imagery hints at the exciting new musical journey that Moonbyul is about to embark on.

Notably, this marks Moonbyul's first solo single release in Japan after 11 years since her debut. To celebrate the release of 'Aurora', she will hold promotional events in five major cities: Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Fukuoka.

This year, Moonbyul has showcased her versatility as an all-rounder by releasing her first full album 'Starlit of Muse' and its repackaged version 'Starlit of Twinkle', excelling in vocals, rap, and performance. She is currently on a successful solo world tour, having already visited eight cities across Asia and now performing in twelve cities in North America. With her Japanese debut confirmed, 'Aurora' is expected to illuminate Moonbyul's musical world.

The single 'Aurora' will be released on February 5, 2025.
