MAMAMOO Unveils Remake Project Album for 10th Anniversary
MAMAMOO is set to celebrate their 10th anniversary with the release of a remake project album. Their agency, RBW, announced that the album titled 'MAMAMOO 10th Anniversary Remake 'Coloring' Project Vol.1' will be available on various music platforms today, January 21, at noon.
Last September, RBW collaborated with ColorTones to recruit musicians for the remake project, ultimately selecting 8 teams from a pool of 207 applicants. Each selected team received support including a cash prize of 10 million won, along with assistance in arrangement, recording, and live clip production.
The remake project album will be released in two parts, with four tracks included in each volume. The first volume, dropping today, features remakes of 'HIP' by acoustic duo Vanilla Moos, 'Um Oh Ah Yeh' by R&B artist D2ear, 'Starry Night' by UK-based singer-songwriter Sarah Chung, and 'Rainy Season' by the singer-songwriter team Co.To, along with instrumental versions of the tracks.
In addition to the album release, RBW's official YouTube channel will showcase interview videos of the participating musicians celebrating MAMAMOO's 10th anniversary, adding further significance to the occasion.
