Maddox Jolie-Pitt Shifts Career Focus from K-Pop to Pilot Training
Maddox Jolie-Pitt, the eldest son of Angelina Jolie, has reportedly changed his career path from pursuing K-Pop to training as a pilot. In a recent interview on December 5, 2024, Angelina shared that Maddox has obtained his pilot's license and is currently undergoing flight training. She expressed her pride, stating, "He is incredibly talented and always surprises me. He has even flown solo recently, which amazed me."
Maddox was adopted by Angelina in 2002 from a Cambodian orphanage when he was just 15 years old. He is one of six children, including Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. Following her tumultuous divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina has been raising her children on her own.
Maddox gained significant attention when he enrolled at Yonsei University in South Korea in August 2019, attending the Underwood International College. Despite receiving offers from other American universities, he chose Yonsei, sparking excitement in South Korea. Angelina accompanied him to Korea, and they were seen exploring the campus and the city together. Maddox had shown a keen interest in Korean culture, even taking Korean language classes in preparation for his studies.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted his plans. After attending orientation, Maddox was set to live on campus for a year but returned to the U.S. in March 2020 due to the pandemic. His graduation status from Yonsei remains unclear.
Now, with reports of him training to become a pilot instead of continuing his studies in Korean culture, fans are left wondering whether this is a mere hobby or a definitive career choice.
