Lim Young-woong's Fan Club Donates and Serves at Local Care Facility

On January 18, the fan club of singer Lim Young-woong, known as 영웅시대 (Hero Era), conducted its 43rd meal service and donation event at 로뎀의집 (Rodem House) in Yangpyeong. The club has been supporting this facility, which houses children with severe disabilities, by providing 1.5 million KRW monthly for meal expenses and various supplies, along with preparing and serving food directly.

For this month's service, coinciding with the upcoming 설 명절 (Lunar New Year), the volunteers prepared a special menu that included 떡만두국 (rice cake dumpling soup), 불고기 (marinated beef), 잡채 (stir-fried glass noodles), 동그랑땡 (Korean-style meat patties), 삼색전 (three-color pancakes), 깻잎전 (perilla leaf pancakes), and 시금치나물 (seasoned spinach). They also provided snacks for the children, including candies, cookies, milk, and drinks, as well as fruits like bananas, apples, and tangerines, along with 24 kg of 한우 (Korean beef).

Additionally, the members gifted 50 handmade wool scarves to the children, expressing joy at seeing their delighted reactions as they wore the beautiful scarves. The members shared, "We made the dumpling filling ourselves and prepared various dishes that the children love, which took more time than usual. Although it was hectic to meet the lunch serving time, we put our hearts into it, hoping the angels at Rodem House enjoy the food and stay healthy this year."

The 영웅시대 봉사나눔방 (Hero Era Volunteer Sharing Room) actively seeks out underprivileged areas that often go unnoticed, conducting monthly volunteer activities. Over the past three and a half years, they have supported not only 로뎀의집 but also 쪽방촌 (ghetto villages), 용산박스촌 (Yongsan box village), the 서울시아동복지협회 (Seoul Child Welfare Association), and '희망을파는사람들' (People Selling Hope), contributing to meal services and financial support for disadvantaged youth. Recently, they have also provided assistance to 중증어린이환자 (children with severe illnesses) through 서울대어린이병원 (Seoul National University Children's Hospital), with total donations amounting to 150.58 million KRW.

Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong recently held successful year-end and New Year concerts.
