LG Uplus Confirms Production of Mid-Form Drama 'The Hunter with a Scalpel'

LG Uplus's content studio STUDIO X+U has officially announced the production of the mid-form drama 'The Hunter with a Scalpel' and revealed a stellar cast that promises to deliver a captivating viewing experience.

'The Hunter with a Scalpel' (planned by STUDIO X+U / produced by Soul Creative and STUDIO X+U / directed by Lee Jung-hoon / written by Jo Han-young, Park Hyun-sin, Hong Yeon-i, and Jin Se-hyuk) is a crime psychological thriller that follows the story of a genius forensic pathologist, Seo Se-hyun, who discovers evidence of his father's murder while performing an autopsy. In a desperate attempt to conceal his dark past, he embarks on a hunt to capture his father before the police can. The series is expected to deliver an intense genre experience with its bold storyline, unique characters, and fast-paced narrative, generating significant anticipation among viewers.

The lead roles will be played by Park Joo-hyun, Park Yong-woo, and Kang Hoon, raising curiosity about the explosive acting ensemble they will create together. Park Joo-hyun takes on the role of Seo Se-hyun, who is determined to hide his past while pursuing his serial killer father.
