LG Twins' Lim Chan-kyu Achieves First Complete Game Shutout

In a remarkable performance, Lim Chan-kyu, the pitcher for the LG Twins, celebrated his first complete game shutout on March 26, 2025. The Twins triumphed over Hanwha with a score of 4-0 at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. Lim showcased his skills by allowing only two hits and two walks while striking out five batters, completing the game without conceding a run.

Lim maintained his impressive form through eight innings, throwing 87 pitches without allowing a score. He returned to the mound for the ninth inning, where he quickly recorded an out against the first batter, Kim Tae-yeon, with a ground ball to third base. He then caught Moon Hyun-bin with a line drive on his 97th pitch and secured the shutout by handling Floriel with another ground ball.

Before the game, Minhyuk from the popular group MONSTA X made a special appearance to throw the ceremonial first pitch.
