Lee Young-ji Reflects on Deep Thoughts in 'Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade Season 3'

In the latest episode of tvN's variety show 'Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade Season 3' (뿅뿅 지구오락실 시즌3), which aired on May 23, the cast members unexpectedly shifted from Abu Dhabi to Lisbon. This change was prompted by the revelation of their departure news from Abu Dhabi, requiring them to relocate.

Producer Na Young-seok set a condition for the group, stating, "To appear as backpackers, you can only pack what fits in your backpack, and nothing else. Therefore, you need to win a large backpack." An Yu-jin questioned whether they had to share one backpack among the four of them, expressing her reluctance but then turning to Mimi with a hopeful, "Please take care of me, unnie," as she looked at Mimi, who struggles in group challenges.

The group had the chance to win various bags, including a 45L bag, a 23L bag, an eco-friendly shopping bag, and a tarp bag, in a game format. Na Young-seok was impressed by Lee Young-ji, who was already wearing a backpack, saying, "If you go like that, you’ll truly look like a backpacker. You could even beat Pani Bottle right now!" Lee Young-ji humorously responded, "I think I should become a YouTuber," embracing the situation.

The game 'Frog Rock-Paper-Scissors' (청개구리 가위바위보 신상 버전) began, but Lee Young-ji struggled, getting only 6 out of 13 correct, making her the weakest player. Despite this, she showed surprising skill in reverse pitch recognition. Na Young-seok, maintaining a stern demeanor, said, "Then give me one of your bags." Lee Eun-ji exclaimed, "Ah, I want to go home!" and jokingly added, "Why is she so feisty? Princess Young-seok?" which elicited laughter from the group.

Ultimately, the team managed to win a small bag. Lee Young-ji expressed her disappointment, saying, "The bag is much smaller than I expected. And the plastic bag is so dirty. After all, it’s for putting clothes in," sighing in frustration. Lee Eun-ji remarked, "The only thing we’re getting better at while filming 'Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade' is packing our bags," shaking her head.

Meanwhile, Lee Young-ji, who was selected for a 70-hour phone detox, had been living without her phone for about 30 hours. She lost a bet with the production team over cooking ramen to get her phone back but managed to negotiate a half-day extension by identifying An Yu-jin, who hadn’t filmed her.

Upon arriving in Lisbon, the group engaged in a game where they had to guess each other's priorities for a chance to win egg tarts. A heated discussion ensued about what they would do if they suddenly came into 100 billion won. Mimi speculated, "If we win the lottery because of us, Young-ji would share the 1 billion won prize with us," reflecting on Young-ji's kind nature. However, An Yu-jin accurately assessed, "Young-ji would rather give it to us than waste it on unnecessary things. She’s also very interested in producing and lives a frugal, stable life. So, investing in financial products would be her top choice," impressing Lee Young-ji.

Additionally, Lee Eun-ji mentioned, "Young-ji believes in reincarnation. She thinks what you give will come back to you," adding, "Right now, there’s nothing she wants to do here. If she had a lot of money, she would want to establish a charity foundation," which deeply moved Lee Young-ji.
