Lee Young-hyun Reflects on Remaking 'Yeon' After 19 Years

On May 24, singer Lee Young-hyun appeared on SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show' to discuss her recent remake of the song 'Yeon' and her upcoming concert titled 'To You Who Needs My Song.' Joining her in the 'Love's Call Center' segment were creator RalRal and singer Kim Tae-hyun.

Reflecting on her decision to remake 'Yeon,' Lee stated, "Nineteen years is a significant time for me as well. Since there was already a version out, I didn't make many changes to the arrangement. I released it as a concert version." When she performed a live snippet, the audience and guests reacted with excitement, exclaiming, "It's spine-chilling!"

Lee's concert 'To You Who Needs My Song' will take place from May 30 to June 1 at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall. She shared, "I will perform around 20 songs for two and a half to three hours without any guests. I need to manage my pace well, even within each song, which can be quite overwhelming."

Additionally, she hinted that she would be taking requests from the audience, stating, "I will sing requested songs, and they don’t necessarily have to be mine," raising anticipation among fans.

Meanwhile, 'Cultwo Show' airs daily from 2 PM to 4 PM on SBS Power FM.
