Lee Soon-jae Attends the 2024 KBS Acting Awards

Actor Lee Soon-jae made a notable appearance at the 2024 KBS Acting Awards held on December 31 at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. This marked his first public event since his health issues in October, which required him to take a three-month break from his role in the play Waiting for Godot. Born in 1934, Lee Soon-jae is the oldest active entertainer in South Korea and has remained active in the industry, participating in the drama Gaesori and the aforementioned play until his health concerns arose. Fortunately, he has recovered and graced the awards ceremony, where he is nominated for the Grand Prize, potentially marking his first win in this category. Other nominees for the Grand Prize include Ji Hyun-woo and Lim Soo-hyang from My Beautiful and Righteous Man, Kim Jung-hyun and Park Ji-young from Iron Family, and Kim Ha-neul from Let’s Get Caught. The event featured performances directed by Kinky, with singers Kim Da-hyun and the Yuk Joong-wan Family showcasing their talents, along with a duet by Ok Joo-hyun and Kim Sung-sik from the musical Mata Hari.
