Lee Soo-geun Addresses Rumors of Conflict with Na Young-seok PD

On the March 26 episode of MBC's Radio Star (라디오스타), comedian Lee Soo-geun spoke out regarding rumors of a rift with Na Young-seok PD, with whom he worked on the popular show 1 Night 2 Days (1박 2일). Lee shared his experiences in the entertainment industry, noting his long tenure on various shows: 11 years on Knowing Bros (아는 형님), 7 years on Ask Us Anything (무엇이든 물어보살), 3 years on Han Moon-cheol's Black Box Review (한문철의 블랙박스 리뷰), and 6 years on Fishing in the City (도시어부).
Reflecting on his childhood, Lee mentioned, "I was always a bit different. When I watched American movies on TV, I would lower the volume and do the dubbing myself." He also recalled how his teachers appreciated his ability to memorize and recite lines from Hong Kong films.
Regarding the rumors about his relationship with Na Young-seok, Lee stated, "It has been six years since we did New Journey to the West (신서유기). Na Young-seok PD has so many projects going on that waiting for my turn has delayed production. I can't just clear my schedule. That's why things haven't progressed. We even went on a trip together recently."
Lee added, "Whenever I work with Na Young-seok PD, it tends to create a lot of buzz, including advertisements. At my age, do I really need that kind of attention?" In response, fellow cast member Kim Gu-ra pointed out that Na Young-seok has many other collaborators. Lee acknowledged this but emphasized the importance of recognizing where Na Young-seok's career began, which elicited laughter from the audience.
