Lee Sol-i Clarifies Diabetes Rumors Amid Family History Concerns
Lee Sol-i, the wife of comedian Park Sung-kwang, has addressed rumors regarding her health, specifically allegations of diabetes. On February 22, she took to her social media account to state, "I do not have diabetes."
The clarification comes after Lee shared a video on her YouTube channel the previous day, where she discussed her daily life. In the video, she mentioned, "When I eat an apple in the morning, my blood sugar rises. My family has a history of diabetes, and after eating apples for a while, I noticed my levels were elevated. Since then, I’ve stopped eating apples in the morning."
Following this, reports surfaced suggesting that she was suffering from diabetes, prompting her to clarify the misunderstanding. Lee expressed her frustration, stating, "I mentioned that I was being cautious due to my family history of diabetes, but everyone has been reaching out with concerns. Even if I shout that I don’t have it, it feels like a cry in the silence. I can already predict that people will ask me about my diabetes again when they see me... I was just being careful because of my family history!"
Lee Sol-i married Park Sung-kwang in 2020, and they have shared glimpses of their newlywed life on the SBS show, Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 (동상이몽2 - 너는 내 운명).
