Lee Se-young Breaks Down in Tears on 'Romantic Italy' Over Harsh Realities

In a recent episode of tvN's 'Romantic Italy', actress Lee Se-young surprised her fellow cast members with an emotional display of tears. The episode aired on December 5, 2024, and featured the group arriving at a restaurant where Lee had prepared sandwiches. The members eagerly anticipated tasting the 'maknae's' creation, and their reactions were overwhelmingly positive, with Ra Mi-ran exclaiming, 'Good!' and others commenting on how delicious it was, making Lee feel relieved.
The group then traveled to Seceda, a stunning location in the Dolomites known for its breathtaking scenery. Throughout the journey, Lee appeared fatigued, having woken up early to prepare snacks. Her struggle against sleepiness brought smiles as she was seen dozing off while wearing sunglasses.
Upon arrival, Lee quickly rushed to secure cable car tickets, prompting laughter from Ra Mi-ran, who jokingly asked for someone to stop her. After descending from the cable car, the group was greeted by the beautiful green gardens of Seceda. While some members struggled with the uphill trek, Lee's fellow cast member, Lee Joo-bin, showcased her stamina, leading to humorous contrasts in energy levels among the group.
Once at the top, the members took photos to capture the moment. However, Lee expressed her disappointment at the short stay, playfully stating, 'I want to roll around here,' before lying down on the grass. Following her lead, other members joined her, and they all marveled at the sky, sharing their joy in the moment and reflecting on how they never expected to experience such beauty in their lives.
Suddenly, Lee Se-young remarked, 'We live too busily; modern society is so hectic,' which led to her shedding tears. Ra Mi-ran playfully encouraged her to hold back her tears, while Joo-bin, with her more logical perspective, commented on how it was okay to feel overwhelmed. Ra Mi-ran added that the beautiful scenery could evoke such emotions, highlighting the bittersweet nature of their busy lives.
