Lee Seung-gi Spreads Warmth to Seniors with THE BOYZ

On December 27, 2024, versatile entertainer Lee Seung-gi joined members of the rookie group THE BOYZ—Jacob, Hyunjae, and Kevin—at the Jongno Senior Welfare Center, which operates under the Korean Buddhist Jogye Order's Social Welfare Foundation. They participated in a meal service for the elderly in Jongno District, sharing warmth during the cold winter season.

Lee Seung-gi, who recently portrayed the head monk in the family film 'Big Family' (대가족), aimed to give back to the community that inspired his role by volunteering at the welfare center. His ongoing support and talent contributions have established a strong connection with the Jongno Senior Welfare Center, where he was honored this year with a commendation from the Jogye Order's General Secretary for his contributions.

During the meal service, Lee Seung-gi and THE BOYZ members served thoughtfully prepared meals and engaged warmly with the local seniors. Lee expressed his gratitude, stating, "It was fulfilling to share warmth in a place that needed help at the end of the year. It was even more meaningful to do this with THE BOYZ, who recently joined One Hundred. I hope the new year brings happiness to many people."

The director of the Jongno Senior Welfare Center, Monk Jeonggwan, thanked Lee Seung-gi and THE BOYZ for their community service, especially in the cold weather, and expressed hope for continued collaboration to support the local community.

Meanwhile, THE BOYZ has recently transferred to One Hundred, the parent company of Lee Seung-gi's agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, signaling new activities and closer communication with their fans.
