Lee Sang-yeob Surprised by Absence of Kwak Tube on 'The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2'

On the December 20 episode of MBN's The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2 (전현무계획2), Lee Sang-yeob expressed surprise at the absence of Kwak Tube (곽튜브), whose real name is Kwak Jun-bin. Jeon Hyun-moo arrived alone and noted that Kwak Tube was missing due to a pre-scheduled overseas commitment. To fill the gap left by Kwak Tube, Jeon Hyun-moo introduced his 'eating friend' for the day, who turned out to be actor Lee Sang-yeob. Upon arriving, Lee Sang-yeob humorously complained about the cold, making Jeon Hyun-moo laugh.

Curiously, Lee Sang-yeob asked Jeon Hyun-moo about Kwak Jun-bin's whereabouts, to which Jeon Hyun-moo jokingly responded, 'He’s not coming anymore?' and explained that Kwak Tube had an overseas schedule. Sensing a hint of disappointment from Lee Sang-yeob, Jeon Hyun-moo inquired if he was a fan of Kwak Tube, revealing that Lee Sang-yeob's parents were fans. Lee Sang-yeob reminisced about how adorable he found Kwak Tube even before his rise to fame on YouTube.

Lee Sang-yeob shared that he was unaware that his fellow actor Kim Nam-gil had previously appeared on the show with Jeon Hyun-moo. His mother had asked him why he wasn’t participating, prompting him to think he should be invited. Shortly after discussing this with his manager, he received a call for an invitation to join the show. He expressed disappointment when he realized he wouldn’t be able to get an autograph from Kwak Tube, to which Jeon Hyun-moo promised to help him get one.

In September, Kwak Tube had posted a travel video featuring actress Lee Na-eun in Rome, where he mentioned some misunderstandings regarding her, hinting at forgiveness. However, this led to criticism as Kwak Tube, who had previously spoken out against school bullying, appeared to defend Lee Na-eun, who faced allegations of bullying. Following the backlash, Kwak Tube deleted the video and issued two apologies, while Lee Na-eun paused her activities due to the controversy.
