Lee Sang-woo Unveils New Album on KBS Show

On March 21, 2025, actor Lee Sang-woo showcased his third album during an episode of KBS 2TV's 'Newly Released Restaurant' (신상출시 편스토랑). The episode featured Lee making traditional Korean rice wine, makgeolli, as he warmly welcomed his father-in-law. Dressed up for the occasion, his father-in-law expressed his affection, mentioning how Lee had gifted him a scarf that he wore throughout the winter.

Lee presented homemade dishes to his father-in-law and, before the meal, performed a gentle rendition of his new song 'Makgeolli Song' while holding a guitar. The lyrics included lines like, 'Makgeolli, makgeolli, lovingly made makgeolli, makgeolli made with my father-in-law. Master makgeolli. Heartfelt makgeolli. Heartfelt master makgeolli.' When the panelists commented on the song's melancholic tone, Lee explained, 'I made it at night.' His father-in-law applauded, saying, 'It’s wonderful. The song seems to have helped it age well.'

While praising the taste of the makgeolli, his father-in-law also advised caution with alcohol, reminiscing about how he used to drink moderately and avoid after-parties when he was younger. After tasting the food, he complimented, 'It’s so delicious. It melts in my mouth.'
