Lee Sang-min Celebrates Debt Clearance and Upcoming Concert with Roora

Lee Sang-min, a member of the iconic K-pop group 룰라 (Roora), is experiencing a wave of good fortune following his recent debt clearance. On February 12, 2025, he shared an exciting announcement on his social media, stating, "2025 첫공연!!! 룰라 The first concert in 2025 is 'roora'" along with a photo featuring fellow members 김지현 (Kim Ji-hyun) and 채리나 (Chae-ri-na). The trio posed affectionately with their arms around each other, showcasing their camaraderie.

Lee Sang-min debuted in 1994 as part of the original four-member lineup of 룰라, which included 고영욱 (Ko Young-wook), 김지현, and 신정환 (Shin Jung-hwan). After Shin Jung-hwan's departure, Chae-ri-na joined the group, and following Ko Young-wook's legal issues, the group continued as a trio with Chae-ri-na and Kim Ji-hyun.

Although they have not released an album since their ninth studio album, 'A9ain - Again', in 2009, the group has remained active through various performances. Last year, they participated in events such as the '2024 타임캡슐 슈퍼콘서트 전국투어' (2024 Time Capsule Super Concert Nationwide Tour), '2024 썸머나이트 콘서트' (2024 Summer Night Concert), and '2024 스카 페스티벌 Spin off' (2024 Sky Festival Spin-off), connecting with fans.

This year, they continue to engage audiences with their performances, generating excitement among fans. Chae-ri-na also shared a group photo on her social media, expressing her gratitude for the invitation and playfully commenting on Lee Sang-min's outfit, saying, "Who does he look like today?" She concluded her post with a heartfelt, "룰라♥" to show her love for the group.

In a personal journey, Lee Sang-min faced significant challenges after his divorce from his ex-wife 이혜영 (Lee Hye-young) in 2005, which left him with debts amounting to 6.9 billion KRW. He later embraced a comedic persona centered around his financial struggles in entertainment. Recently, he announced that he has cleared all his debts and, in a teaser for the show SmileTV Plus's '중매술사2' (Matchmaker 2), he proudly stated, "I’ve paid off all my debts and now earn over 1 billion KRW a year."
