Lee Min-ho's Character Trapped in Space in 'Ask the Stars'

In the latest episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Ask the Stars' (별들에게 물어봐), Lee Min-ho's character, Gong-ryong, finds himself isolated in space. On January 25, the episode depicted Gong-ryong successfully fertilizing an egg and sperm while avoiding Eve (공효진). He excitedly called Nam Min-jung (백은혜) to share the news, but she was unconscious. Due to a mistake by Secretary Choi Go-eun (한지은), the call was answered, and Gong-ryong declared, "I fertilized the egg by hand without a microscope. I will do whatever it takes to create a morula and bring it back."

Suddenly sensing a presence, Gong-ryong quickly ended the call, overheard by Kang Kang-soo (오정세), who dismissed Gong-ryong's claims of success. Gong-ryong warned, "If I tell Eve, I’ll be dead. I’m not that desperate yet," before leaving.

Later, he made a heartfelt confession to the sleeping Eve, expressing his desire to date like a normal couple once they return to Earth, while Eve pretended to be asleep, hearing everything.

However, a crisis loomed as they faced the threat of colliding with space debris. When told they could escape to Earth, Gong-ryong rushed to secure the fertilized egg. The debris approached faster than expected, leading to a collision with their spacecraft.

In the aftermath, Gong-ryong lost consciousness and became trapped in isolation. Eve, still on the escape pod, insisted on rescuing him, but Park Dong-ah (김주헌) and Kang Tae-hee (이엘) restrained her and initiated remote hatch separation. Eve watched the spaceship drift away, her face filled with concern.
