Lee Kyung-sil Discovers Son Son Bo-seung's Night Job on 'Joseon's Love Fool'

In the latest episode of TV Chosun's 'Joseon's Love Fool' aired on January 20, Lee Kyung-sil had her first glimpse into her son Son Bo-seung's life as a designated driver. The two had been estranged for a year, and during a tense moment, Son Bo-seung expressed, "I didn't make a mistake; I trusted myself." Lee Kyung-sil reflected on her feelings, stating, "It upset me that my son has to bear the responsibilities of a family man at such a young age." She lamented, "While your friends are traveling and enjoying their youth, you are already shouldering the burden of a family."
As the clock struck 11:30 PM, Son Bo-seung hurriedly left home to begin his late-night work. Wearing a helmet, he rode his bicycle through the frigid winter air, which surprised Lee Kyung-sil as she watched him on the monitor. Concerned about potential cancellations, he rushed to his destination, making it in just nine minutes despite the -10°C weather. He earned approximately 16,800 won for his efforts, aiming to make 80,000 won by working until 3 or 4 AM at a rate of 20,000 won per hour.
When asked by Kim Guk-jin if she felt her son would find comfort in her support as he worked through the night, Lee Kyung-sil admitted, "It would be a lie to say I feel indifferent. It’s heartbreaking to see him working while everyone else is asleep." She expressed a desire for her son, an actor, to work during the day instead, noting, "He’s already feeling the weight of being a husband and father, but he tries to think positively about it."
