Lee Junho Bids Farewell to JYP Entertainment After 17 Years

Lee Junho, a member of the popular group 2PM and an accomplished actor, has officially parted ways with JYP Entertainment after a remarkable 17-year journey. On April 15, 2025, it was revealed through online communities that Junho had prepared a heartfelt farewell gift for his colleagues at JYP.

Photos shared online showcased a banner reading, "I was happy to be with the JYP family. Thank you sincerely. From Lee Junho," alongside a standee that said, "JYP Fighting! One Rave Fighting!"

In a touching gesture, Junho gifted cheesecake to the JYP staff, expressing his gratitude with a message that stated, "To the JYP family, I was happy to be with you for such a long time, and I sincerely thank you. Let’s meet again someday. From Lee Junho."

Last month, JYP Entertainment announced the conclusion of Junho's exclusive contract, stating, "We inform you that the exclusive contract between JYP Entertainment and artist Lee Junho will end as of April 15. After extensive discussions, both parties have decided not to renew the contract."

Junho also expressed his appreciation through his agency, saying, "I am truly grateful for the unwavering support over the past 17 years. I will cherish the relationships and the encouragement I received during this time as I move forward."

Since debuting with 2PM in 2008, Junho has successfully transitioned into acting, starting with the film 'The Suspect' in 2013. He has appeared in various films and dramas, including 'Twenty', 'The King's Affection', 'Just Between Lovers', 'Confession', and 'King the Land'.
